Who can become a digital host on Music Traveler?
Anyone with a Music Traveler account can become a digital host on our streaming service. All you need is the ability to record audio and video.
What kind of content can I stream?
Music Traveler users can stream concerts, band sessions, music lessons, workshops and more! Anything music related can be streamed.
How do I share videos?
Videos can be pre-recorded and uploaded or streamed live through Youtube. To use Music Traveler's paywall, all you need to do is share the video's Youtube URL.
How do I make money from streaming my content?
You can make money by charging ticket fees. Additionally users can support your content through artist contributions and endorsements.
How are payments administered?
All payments between hosts, performers and users are secured through Stripe. When you sign up for MT+ you will also receive a Stripe account.
What is MT+?
MT+ accounts have the ability to stream videos and earn money. Once you’ve signed up for the streaming service you will automatically have an MT+ account.
Is there a service charge if I earn money?
Because of the Covid-19 crisis, Music Traveler is currently waiving all service fees. You will be notified of any changes to this policy, if they apply to you. The only fee that is deducted is a small service charge from our payment partner Stripe.
Can I delete a performance?
You can delete a performance before its scheduled premiere, however, if an event has premiered and/or customers have purchased tickets, you can no longer delete the stream.
